"Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't and believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it'd be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

Florida

Scott and I recently just got back from Florida. We got to go because he won an award at work and was chosen to go on the yearly trip Wells Fargo sends their top performers on each year. The food was great and so was the entertainment. Each night they did something different. They had everything from a casino night, a room full of champagne, chocolates, and violins to a room with pop music and another room called Soul Train. On the last night we had a really nice sit down dinner. When we weren't attending the WF events we could just enjoy the sun and the beach! The weather was great and it was nice to relax. Nothing is more relaxing the listening to the ocean and enjoying the view.

The kids stayed with grandpa and grandma. They both did really good. Rylan was a good boy and Kayla had fun building a birdhouse with grandpa, going to the library and playing all day long. I was really sad to leave them, especially Rylan. I don't think we left Kayla overnight until she was about 17 months old, so it was hard to leave Rylan when he was still so little. I know he was in good hands though and G&G sure enjoyed it :-) Luckily we stayed really busy while in Florida so it went by fast. We both had a lot of much needed fun and relaxation but I was sure glad to get home to my babies!!!

A piece of heaven...a chocolate bar!!

We got to listen to Captain Sully Sullenberger talk about when he landed his plane in the Hudson river.

Country singer Mark Wills played for us at our farewell dinner on the last night in Florida.
