Rylan's 2 Year Check-up

I am behind at posting... Rylan had his 2 year check-up on 3/20/14.  Here are his stats:

Height:  35 1/2"  (78%)
Weight:  26 lbs  1 oz  (22%)
HC:  18 1/4"

Rylan's 1st Haircut

Rylan got his first haircut this weekend.  His hair is not growing nearly as fast as his sister's was at this age.  He doesn't have a lot of hair, but what he does have was getting kind of long and in need of a little trim.  He wanted no part of sitting in the chair so Kilee could trim his hair.  Instead he was clinging to me for dear life and wanted his blanket for extra support :-)  He held pretty still as long as I didn't try to make him sit down.  His hair looks much "cleaner" now and he is even more handsome than ever!

 

Kayla's Dentist Appt

Kayla was a brave girl at her check-up at the Dentist.  She let them clean her teeth while she watched cartoons.  And best of all, NO cavities!!!

 

What Mom, I have to brush my teeth?!

Rylan's 2nd Birthday Party

Rylan celebrated his 2nd birthday Curious George style!  He loves his Curious George that he sleep with each night so we thought that would be a good theme:)  I had Hy-Vee make the cake and I added the monkey and banana runts(which I looked ALL over town for) to the cake.  We made the man in the yellow hats out of twinkies, fruit roll ups and shortbread cake.  Rylan had a fun day, and him and Kayla loved spending time with cousin Nolan! :-)
