Kayla's Dentist Appt

Kayla was a brave girl at her check-up at the Dentist. She let them clean her teeth while she watched cartoons. And best of all, NO cavities!!!

Rylan celebrated his 2nd birthday Curious George style! He loves his Curious George that he sleep with each night so we thought that would be a good theme:) I had Hy-Vee make the cake and I added the monkey and banana runts(which I looked ALL over town for) to the cake. We made the man in the yellow hats out of twinkies, fruit roll ups and shortbread cake. Rylan had a fun day, and him and Kayla loved spending time with cousin Nolan! :-)

Happy 2nd Birthday Rylan!

Happy Birthday Rylan Noah! I can't believe it's been 2 years since we welcomed you to our family! You have the biggest personality and always make us laugh. You are constantly getting into things and making mommy pull her hair out, but I thank you for making sure I can never get lazy ;-) I love all of the silly things you do and how you just love being the center of attention. You are so sweet and it couldn't make me happier how much you love and look up to your big sister. You and Kayla have such a special bond and I LOVE that I get to be home with you and see that everyday. Your simple love for life brings us so much joy and reminds us that life is about love, family, friends and fun. And we couldn't ask for anything more. Thank you for everything you have taught us in 2 short years. We love you so much Buddy!

Do you want to build a snowman?

Kayla has been waiting all winter to build a snowman. We all know the lack of snow this year has not been the problem. It's always TOO cold to go outside to play in it! So one day it was warm and the snow was melting fast. She got to outside with Daddy and build a snowman. They gave him a mouth made out of chocolate chips, and a carrot for a nose. He melted away fast. We watched his head fall off one day. And all that is left of him now is one little ball and his arms on the ground:-(
