"Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't and believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it'd be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

It's a Boy!

We found out last week we are having a boy! Kayla wanted a brother so she is really excited. We only have pink pink pink at our house so we went to buy some blue after we found out. She picked out a blanket she wanted him to have too. She will be such a good big sister:-)

Cupcakes

Kayla helped Mommy make halloween cupcakes. I had some extra stuff on hand, so we decided to make spiders and pumpkins. She is going to take them to daycare and share with her friends. (they were very yummie btw)

Pumpkin Patch

We took Kayla to Howell's Pumpkin Patch this weekend. She asked us all morning when we were going to leave. Right when we got there she said she wanted to ride the pony first. They had all sorts of stuff to do and we rode the hay rack ride out to the pumpkin patch to pick out a pumkpin too. She said she wanted to carry it because she is a big girl. She was pretty worn out and fell asleep before we got home.

St. Louis

This weekend we went down to St. Louis for a wedding Scott was in. It took over 5 hours to get down there, so luckily Jerad and Jacque went with us too to keep us company! My mom came up and stayed with Kayla at our house. I don't think she would have liked being in a car for that long, she had way more fun playing with Grandma. It was a nice weekend trip, but man was I tired Sunday night!

We stayed at Ameristar Hotel and Casino, overlooking the "Mighty Mississippi". It was HUGE. I think it was probably the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. They had tons of restaurants and shops and of course a casino in it. I had to take a picture of our room too so Scott can make me a bathroom like this one some day :-)

Silly faces...

6 Years

Holy cow! Six years?!? Yep, Scott and I just celebrated our 6 year anniversary on September 17th. Hard to beleive it has been that long since our wedding day. My mom was up this past weekend so we were able to go out to dinner alone. Granted I probably wasn't the best date since I'm easing into eating "normal" food again. sigh... We have been through a lot together and have been fortunate to get to go on vacations and spend time together just the two of us. I think it has really helped make us closer and he is my best friend. I am so excited to be starting the next chapter of our lives by having Kayla and another baby on the way, but I would never take back that time that we got to spend just the two of us. After kids its not the same, but they are so worth it all too! Thanks for being a great husband and father! oh, and for always putting up with me, especially when I'm pregnant. I know i'm not the easiest to live with when i'm pregnant, but I will pay you back in March. I promise ;-)

I love you! Happy Anniversary!

Tired Nelly

Here's a funny pic of Nelly sleeping in the doll basinet while KJ colors.

*** Today Kayla told me that she had a baby in her tummy. She said it was her baby brother and her baby sister was in Mommy's tummy. (We need to find out soon what this baby is, poor girl is so confused!)
