Car Wash

Kayla helped Daddy wash the car last night. She had lots of fun helping and did a really good job!

Ellie's Birthday Party

Kayla went to Ellie's birthday party this last weekend. It was really hot so the kids had fun playing outside in the water. She even got to play with a bunny that they were taking care of for Ellie's Aunt.

Balloons!

Saturday we went to the National Balloon Classic in Indianola. We watched tons of hot air balloons fly up in the sky. Kayla really liked watching them. It was neat to see that many of them at once.

Slumber Party

Kayla always asks when her friends are going to stay over night. So last weekend we decided to let Zach and Shae spend the night. At first Kayla was not sharing her toys very well, but they found other things to do and had lots of fun. They played in the toy room, caught lightning bugs and watched a movie and ate popcorn. The next day she said to me, Mommy my friends had fun spending the night with me. They are already asking when they can do it again.

Christy's Wedding

Last weekend we went back for Scott's cousin Christy's Wedding. It was so HOT that day but the wedding still turned out very nice. Kayla was super excited to go to the wedding. When we first got to the church she said, Mommy we are going to dance! And then she asked where the wedding girl was. During the ceremony she kept asking where the wedding cake was. I'm sure the people sitting next to us heard. I had to keep telling her to be quiet! When we got to the reception she was a little shy at first but it didnt' take her long to warm up. She had so much fun dancing with her cousins Avery, Ella, Toben and Jaden. I think she dances to every single song!
