"Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't and believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it'd be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

Kayla's 1st Day of Preschool

Well, the day I've been dreading came and went and everyone survived!  Today was Kayla's first day of preschool.  She has been asking for a long time when she gets to start school so I was hoping that was a good sign.  She didn't act nervous at all today and was excited to get ready to go.  I have been more emotional than her.  I can't believe how fast 4 1/2 years have gone by.  I feel like it was just yesterday I was carrying around my sweet baby girl.  She is growing up way too fast for this mama.  I wish I could keep my kids little forever and protect them but I know the time comes when they have to start figuring out life for themselves.  Kayla did SOOO good today.  She didn't shed one tear!  She stood there waiting for them to open the doors all brave and full of excitement.  We took her in and helped her get settled in and gave her hugs and kisses and she had a smile on her face when we left.  I'm so glad because I wasn't sure I could hold myself together if she would have cried and wanted me to stay.  When I picked her up she told me all about her day and was so happy.  We couldn't be more proud of her!  She is one very loved little girl and I know she will do so good in school!  Good luck baby girl, we love you!

Kayla's name tag we made together for her backpack.

Rylan wanted to stay at preschool too! But KJ made sure to give him 2 kisses before he left.  She is such a sweet big sister.

Swing Set

Finally something to play on!  After a long 20+ hours, my dad and Scott got this beast put together and the kids couldn't be more excited!  The daycare kids and neighborhood kids love it too.  So far we have only had one person knocked out from the swing (Rylan) and one bloody nose.  So yeah, doing good ;-)  A BIG thank you to Grandma for making sure the kids got something to play on and to Grandpa and Daddy for spending their weekend putting it together for them!  They are going to have such great memories when they get older!

Cousins and the ZoO...and Grandmas ToO

The day after the Taylor Swift concert we all headed for the zoo before everyone had to head back home.  I think the kids got to see and do just about everything at the zoo that day.  It was another fun day with the fam for sure!

Taylor Swift!

Last Thursday Kayla and I went to the Taylor Swift concert with my mom, Aunt Karen and cousins Brandi, Hannah, Ally, and Lindsey.  We all have been looking forward to this weekend for a long time.  Kayla kept asking for weeks if it was almost time for the concert.  It was so much fun having everyone come up and stay at our house and have some girl time with the family.  I wish we all lived closer and could have more nights like this one.  The concert was so much fun and the company was even better!  Kayla loved seeing Taylor LIVE.  I think my little four year old was in awe of seeing her favorite singer!  She is one lucky little girl:-)
