Pool

Kayla got to go to the pool for the first time with Mommy and Daddy. She had lots of fun playing in the water. She kept laughing and splashing us. Mommy took her down the water slide and she thought that was pretty cool. After we went down she kept saying MORE MORE!

Kayla had her first ear of corn. I wasn't sure if she would be able to eat it but she did really good! I'm pretty sure she like it a lot!

"Suck Suck"

Kayla LOVES suckers. She always says, "I wanna suck suck" She asks for them every morning, every time she's in the car, and every night she gets home from daycare. No, she doesn't get one every time she asks but you got to give her credit for trying!

Bike ride with the Widens

We rode bikes with Matt and Ashley on a trail right by their house. It had rained earlier but we decided to still go. Kayla did better this time I think because Ben rode with her. I think she liked the company but didn't really want to share her snacks with him. We stopped at a park along the trail so the kids could get out and play. By the time we got back, the poor kids had mud on them because every time Scott and Matt went through a puddle it splashed on them. They didn't seem to mind though...lol




The creek along the trail was over the road so we had to go up over the bridge to get past it.

Vegas!

We are sitting in the LV airport right now and we just found out our flight is delayed so I figured I would take this time to update the blog while we are waiting. Scott and I left for Vegas on Thursday and we are headed back home today. I got to celebrate another birthday in Vegas, but next year I will be the big 3-0 so maybe we will have to come back again;-) We had a lot of fun and it was nice relaxing by the pool. It was super hot...saturday it got up to 107. Kayla has been staying with Grandpa and Grandma Smith and having lots of fun so we hear. I'm sure she has been so spoiled and it will be a challenge to get her back into a routine...(thanks mom and dad!) J/K that's what G&G's are for, right?! Anyways, here are some pics and we can't wait to get home and see Kayla! C-ya soon! xoxo
