We had lunch with the Widens today. Ben wanted to play but Kayla thought he was a little too aggresive for her. She kept running to me as if I was going to "save her from him". Ben just looked at her like "What? Don't you want to play?" She did however enjoy her brownie dessert as you can tell in the picture...

Storytime

Today was Jase's 1st birthday so we went over to his house to help him celebrate! Kayla of course wanted to help him open all of his presents and checked out all of his new toys. I think her favorite part though was the cake:-) She also was busy trying to make sure Jase's puppy Ady didn't get a hold of her crackers she was eating. She had a good time...thanks for inviting us to the party Bates fam!

This weekend we went to a wedding for one of Scott's friends. Kayla had a lot of fun playing on the dance floor with all the other little girls. I spent most of my time chasing her around all night and making sure she didn't knock over the palm trees!

Kayla had fun playing with Ty this weekend and taking over his kennel :-)

Kayla is all ready for bedtime...she took her bath and brushed her teeth!
