"Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't and believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it'd be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

Happy Easter

Kayla, Ally, Hannah, Jonathan, and Gavin with Great Grandpa and Grandma Huntsman at Church on Sunday.

Ally gave Kayla an Easter basket. She took everything out to give to her...including the grass.

Only in Emerson can you ride around town on a golf cart with all these kids.

Owen and Kayla waiting for the Easter egg hunt to begin.

Getting a kiss bye from Owen.

Nathan teaching me how to shoot a gun. (I have a terrible shot btw)

The Days of the Week

Easter Fun

This weekend we went to see the Easter Bunny and decorated easter eggs. Kayla told the Easter Bunny she wanted chocolate for Easter. She is her Mommy's daughter :-) I think she was more excited to ride the train they had though. She had fun decorating easter eggs and kept asking, "Can I touch them?"

You can't tell by her face in this picture but she was actually really excited to ride the train. lol

Hello Spring!

Today we went down to Villisca to Great Grandma and Grandpa Smith's House for Grandpa's birthday dinner. It was really windy out but we did an Easter Hunt for the little kids anyways. The kids had fun and of course liked all the candy. Kayla tried to cheat and put an egg in her bucket before all the kids got out there.

All the little cousins.

Kayla's "new" Little Tikes Climber.

Scott brought this cupcake home for Kayla on friday. Someone he works with made hamburger cupcakes. The hamburger is a chocolate cupcake and the rest is frosting. Almost too cute to eat....almost ;-)

Zoo

It was so nice out today you couldn't help but want to spend some time outside. We decided to go to the Zoo since we live right by it. Admission is still at the winter rate because not all of the exibits are open yet. It was soooo nice because there weren't very many people there. Kayla had fun feeding the goats and fish. She would get so into looking at one animal that I would have to pull her away kicking and screaming (no joke) so that we could go see another animal. She was fine once we got somewhere else. But wasn't happy when I said the fish were full and that we couldn't play at the playland anymore. Aside from that, she had a great time. She's an animal lover.
