Sorry, I've been slacking on the blog. I have been working on some pics I took for my friends Emily and Kara. Emily's little boy Jase turned 18 months old recently. He is a little cutie pie and will be playing football before you know it, Em! Kara's boys Alex and Eli are little cuties too. Alex just had a birthday and is 3 years old! I think Eli looks like a little cabbage patch doll, I could just steal him :-) They are posted on my site if you want to take a peek.
As far as Miss Kj...she has got quite the personality. She is going through this "mine" phase. Everything his "hers". My blankie, my towel, my elmo. She is so funny, she says the funniest things. I asked her if she wanted to be Snow White for Halloween or Dorothy from the wizard of oz, she said I wanna b Minnie Mouse. (We ended up ordering Snow White) We are planning on coming back the weekend of Halloween so all you Grandparents better have some candy ready, we will be making the rounds!
Gotta look cool when eating chicky nuggies! (When she gets them from McDonalds she calls them Chickie Donalds)
Sharing popcorn with Daddy.
"Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't and believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it'd be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

Kansas City
Scott and I went to Kansas City for our anniversary that is coming up (Sept. 17th). We stayed at the Plaza. There were all kinds of shops, restaurants, a river walk and lots more. It was nice just to go somewhere to get away for a little bit. A nice relaxing place to go. KC is known as the City of Fountains. It has more fountains than any other city. Everything is so pretty in the Plaza.
The first place we had to go was of course Jack Stack BBQ. Scott was so looking forward to eating there. They have the best BBQ in KC. I have never seen so much food on one plate! Their food was so gOOd.
We went to the Power and Light District at night. Scott happened to notice Tony Moeaki walk by (former TE for the Iowa Hawkeyes, and now a rookie for the KC Chiefs.) Of course it was kind of hard to miss him because he and the guys he was with were huge. We ran into him again later so we grabbed him for a pic. He was pretty excited we recognized him as a Hawkeye. Go Hawks!
Call me a dork, but I've always wanted to go on a carriage ride. We were walking around and kept seeing them go by. I talked Scott into going for ride but we didn't know where they started at. So he pulls out the handy iPhone to look it up on the internet and sure enough we were literally standing right next to the booth. In our defense all of the horses were out so it's not like we didn't see a big horse right beside us. It was a nice way to see the plaza.
