We are officially part of the biking world now. Scott got a bike a few weeks ago and we just got a bike trailer for Kayla. We are still looking for one for me so today I just rented one from Grays Lake so we could go for a ride. We thought it would be something fun to do to get out of the house. So how did Kayla's first bike ride go??? Well I don't think it was her most favorite thing she has done but she did pretty good. She fussed a couple of times and we would stop and give her some snacks. I think she just wanted to get out and run around, but I'm sure she'll get used to it and have lots of fun:-)
"Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't and believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it'd be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

Boating Time!
Yesterday was the first time we went boating for the summer. We were a little nervous because we weren't sure how Kayla would like the boat this year. But luckily she loved it! She kept saying "boat" and "water". It probably helped that the weather was gorgeous, not too hot and the water surprisingly was warm. I think the beach is still under water but maybe next time we can play there, I'm sure she will really enjoy that!
Just chillin with some cheetos.
Lunch time.
Daddy got up on the skis the first try!

Happy Birthday Great Grandpa Huntsman!
We went out to dinner at Viking Lake for Great Grandpa Huntsmans 79th birthday. We had a nice time and seeing a lake sure has us itching for summer and doing some boating! Happy Birthday Grandpa!

The Zoo
We spent all day Saturday at the Omaha Zoo. We went with Grandpa and Grandma Smith, Grandma Connie, Great Grandma Huntsman, Aunt Karen, Brandi, Hannah, Marcus, Ally, McKenzie, and Bree. Kayla had fun at the petting zoo of course. She is such an animal lover. She LOVED the penguins and kept calling them "birdies". She wasn't however too fond of the carousel. She made Daddy hold her the whole time because she didn't want to sit on any of the animals. Other than that she was such a good girl, I knew she would love the zoo. It was a little crazy at times with a big bunch but we had a good time...Karen got bit and hit by a bird, we almost took out a lady on the train, and only lost one kid...so yeah, I guess I would say it went well;-)

Nite Nite Daddy
Tonight Kayla went in her room to put her babydoll to bed. I thought it was so cute so I told Scott to come in to look. He laid down by her doll so she thought Daddy was going night night too. She proceeded to cover him up with everything she could find. She start off putting a purse and a ball on top of his head. When she ran out of toys she opened her dresser drawers and started putting her PJs on him... She told him nite nite and shut the door... sleep tight Daddy!
